Having studied maths at Cambridge for my undergraduate degree, I’ve spent the last two years teaching in schools, and now will be starting the Mathematical Sciences MSc in Utrecht in Sep 2024. Besides learning (maths, science, philosophy, history, etc.), I really enjoy music (I've been learning piano/keyboard for a few months), videogames (like Minecraft), and parkour (and a bit of climbing). We houden er geen wilde feesten of bijzondere hobbies op na. We zijn allebei handig en enige huiselijke klusjes zijn dan ook geen probleem. We voldoen graag aan afspraken en opgegeven regels.

Hey, my name is Kerrin, I´m 24 and a soon to be Master´s student from Germany looking for a place to live in Leiden or close by that ideally comes with nice people to live with and will hopefully feel like a home for the next few years. I´m currently finishing my Bachelor´s of molecular medicine in Tübingen, Germany, and will specialize in Biology and Science Communication in the future. Being interested in communication also means that I put great emphasis on a well-functioning communication in a shared flat and with people in general. It is very important to me that everyone´s needs can be talked about and are respected (including e.g. clean common spaces, quiet times, consideration of stressfull times, etc.). I´ve lived in two different shared flats and a student residence so far and loved the feeling of community and activities like cooking together, trips, or board game nights. I´m not much of a party person but will always be happy to join you for a cup of coffee or a walk on the beach. My friends describe me as empathetic, determined, well-organized, and funny and in my free time I like to be creative, spend time outside or cooking, meeting friends over a coffee, or learn a new language. Besides English and German, I´ve had fun learning Swedish and am currently getting into Spanish and Dutch. It would be great to have flatmates who could see themselves contributing to my Dutch too. Perks of living with me would include that I can take very good care of your plants while you´re away and that I have lots of great recipes from my time working at the bakery of my favorite café. Hi, I’m Evalina, soon to be 20 years old and currently studying the bachelor communication science at the wonderful Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. I have always been a curious and open-minded person which is why after my a-levels I realized that I wanted something new and exciting in my life, so I decided to study abroad. Amsterdam as a city was the perfect match for me, because even though I don’t speak Dutch yet (but I am going to learn it with the beginning of May), everyone speaks English and since it is not very far from Germany, I am still able to visit my family regularly. For the first year of my bachelor, I was one of the lucky students to get student accommodation. I am sharing the apartment with another girl and we are both very organized, clean and tidy. But due to an age difference of 8 years she treated me rather like a “little sister” than an equal roommate. This made me realize that for my next accommodation I am not just looking for a place to stay but I am looking to find a home as I am planning on doing my masters as well in Amsterdam. In my free time I love to travel all around the world, do fun activities with my friends but also to have a chilled movie night. Regarding sports in really enjoy doing Zumba as well as tennis. You may wonder why I am the perfect roommate for you? I already have experience in living and running a household on my own. I am responsible and clean, and i prefer a chilled evening at home over hosting a party. I hope that i made you curious to get to know me better and I am already looking forward to meeting you! :)

Hello, I’m an international student from the US who has been living in the Netherlands (Maastricht) for the past 3 years. I am planning on moving to Utrecht this summer to complete my masters in Neuroscience and Cognition. I am looking to start renting in June or July for 1 or 2 years. I am a quiet and clean female tenant. I always pay on time and can provide a reference from my current landlord speaking to my qualities as a tenant :) My parents will serve as my guarantors. I understand renters are receiving lots of requests for viewings given the housing crisis, but I’d really appreciate the opportunity to arrange a viewing. Hey, I'm Jana, 20 years old, from Frankfurt Germany. I will start my international bachelor's degree in psychology in Leiden in September. So I'm looking for a room in Leiden/near Leiden from June/July/August on. About me: I graduated from high school last summer and decided to travel Europe. There I worked in different hostels and always shared a dorm with the other lovely volunteers. The 4 months have taught me a lot about being independent and tidying up my stuff and keeping things clean. But it helped me even more to learn to share a room with so many other people from other cultures and to live together and set boundaries as well as to accept those of others. Apart from traveling, I love going out with friends for a few drinks, dancing to house music and wine evenings on the balcony. On the other hand, I also love having really quiet evenings where we just sit together relax, chat, maybe cook and watch a movie. In my free time I go to the gym regularly. And just recently I've gotten to do yoga and Pilates a little more, which I also really enjoy. I am also a very creative person who likes to do crafts, paint or make pottery. And I also enjoy doing it with friends! About the room I would imagine a room around 15 m2 in size. But more important about the roomies. 1-3 roommates would be ideal - but I would have absolutely no problem with a larger number of roommates. Of course it would be great if the roommates were about the same age as me. Of course, I think it would be ideal if at some point as roommates you share hobbies and do things together((:
